The Altmühlbühne Riedenburg e. V. is an amateur theatre group in Riedenburg in the district of Kelheim, Lower Bavaria, Germany. Each year in November and December it stages a comedy in Bavarian dialect at the Fuchsstadl in Riedenburg.[1]
Repertoire
The group stages a new production each year, performed and produced by volunteers.[2] Its repertoire consists mainly of rural comedies in dialect. In 2026, for the 120th anniversary of the visit of Prince Ludwig, later King Ludwig III, to Riedenburg in 1906, it also wrote and performed a historical play of its own.[3]
