The Heimatbühne Langdorf e. V. is an amateur theatre association in Langdorf in the district of Regen, Lower Bavaria, Germany, in the Bavarian Forest. Founded in 2002, it performs one-act plays and sketches in dialect each autumn in the Wölfl-Saal in Langdorf.[1]

History

In 2002 the idea arose to perform theatre again in Langdorf every autumn. After an appeal in the newspaper, a group of interested people met and began looking for suitable plays. The first performance took place on 22 June 2002 in the Wölfl-Saal; the premiere and the following performances were sold out. Friendships developed with other theatre groups such as the Guntherbühne Rinchnach and the theatre club in Schönberg. In 2004 the group became a registered association under the chairmanship of Meta Gaschler.[1]

Repertoire

The Heimatbühne Langdorf performs only one-act plays and sketches in dialect. Its performances take place from late September to early October.[1] In 2026 the municipality listed performances of the Heimatbühne in the Gasthaus Wölfl-Saal in October.[2]

Venue

The group plays in the hall of the Gasthaus Wölfl (Wölfl-Saal) in Langdorf.[1]
