History
The association was founded in 2005 by 20 theatre enthusiasts. The original idea was an annual festival play, Macht und Minne, set in 1345 and dealing with the granting of market rights to Bruck; after six performances between 2006 and 2008 the concept was dropped in favour of changing productions each year. Karin Michl, assistant director in the last year of Macht und Minne, has directed all of the association's productions since 2009.[1]
Repertoire
The association plays classics, often in Bavarian versions, as well as comedies and crime plays; summer productions are staged in the open air, autumn productions at other venues.[3][2]
