History
Twice, in 1998 and 2003, it played in the courtyard of the former Attel Abbey.[3] In 2013 it staged a joint theatre evening with the theatre groups of Pfaffing and Rott am Inn, with three plays performed in Attel, Rott am Inn and Pfaffing. In October 2015 it gave six performances of Erich Baumgartner's Die nasse Straß, a play with music set in Wasserburg around 1650 about the founding of the local boatmen's brotherhood, together with the Stadtkapelle Wasserburg and the singers of the Wasserburg boatmen.[3] The 2020 autumn play was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic; from 2021 the association turned to summer open-air theatre in Attelthal, complemented by concerts and "tractor cinema" evenings.[3]
Besides its plays the association regularly takes part in the Inndammfest in Wasserburg, the carnival parade in Edling and a carnival theatre evening in Zellerreith, and has held Christmas events.[3]
Repertoire
The association plays mainly Bavarian comedies and folk plays.[3]
