History

The theatre group was founded in 1974.[1] Its productions have mostly been Bavarian farces (Schwänke) and comedies, with occasional crime comedies such as Arsen und Spitzenhäubchen (2003). Because of the renovation of the Bürgerhaus there were no performances in 2010 and 2012; in 2011 the group played three one-act plays in the Putzbrunn parish hall. From 2013 it again performed in the Bürgerhaus.[1] In October 2024 the club announced that the play planned for that year had been cancelled; in August 2026 it announced a new production.[2][3]
