History
The theatre group was established in 1966 together with the local branch of the Catholic rural youth movement, at first under the direction of Anton Menter senior. In its first years it performed at the village inn, the Gasthof Prummer, before moving in the early 1970s to the sports clubhouse with a new stage. According to the club, the group once even went on tour.[2] It celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2016 in the sports clubhouse with all founding members and an exhibition.[3] No performances took place from 2020 to 2022 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[2]
Repertoire
The group rehearses from autumn and performs in winter. Until the early 2000s its programme usually combined a full-length comedy with a one-act play.[1][2]
