History
The theatre group began in 1995 as a section of the Kulturverein Mühlhausen e. V. In early 2016 the parent club and its theatre section merged into a single association under the name TheaterKult Mühlhausen e. V.[3][4] No play was staged in 2009 or 2017.[1]
Repertoire
The group stages one comedy a year, usually in spring. From 2003 it also held an annual sketch evening in October or November, first in the training room of the Mühlhausen fire station and from 2012 in the Bendersaal.[1][5]

Organisation
Besides theatre and sketches, the club organises activities around the village maypole (Kirwabaum) and the Mühlhausen church fair (Kirchweih).[2] In October 2026 it hosted an evening with the Upper Palatinate cabaret artist Josef "Bäff" Piendl at the Gasthaus Pfindel in Hofen.[8]
