History
The impulse for the group came in 1964 from a young woman from Altisheim who had read the script of Die zwei Halbschönen and persuaded other young people of the village to join her. The village teacher and his wife helped them as director and prompter to stage two comedies, which were a success; on the teacher's advice the group founded a club, with him as first chairman. Theatre had already been performed in Altisheim before, as a newspaper cutting from 1950 shows.
