Mund-ART-Theater "Meenzer Rhoiadel e.V." is an amateur theatre group from Mombach, a district of Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, that performs comedies in the Mainz dialect. Founded in 2000, it played for many years in the Auktionshaus Schnappenberger in Mombach and has given guest performances in Bodenheim since 2022.

History
The theatre was founded in the summer of 2000 with the aim of cultivating and preserving the Mainz dialect. According to the group, it was started by a Mainz author and several like-minded people, most of whom had previously belonged to the Mainzer Seniorenbühne. The city of Mainz's register of associations gives 17 August 2000 as the founding date; a 2022 press report gives the founding year as 2001. The name refers to the Mainz expression "Meenzer Rhoiadel", used for the pensioners who used to sit and talk on the Mainz bank of the Rhine.

In early 2016 the association had more than 60 members. It played two seasons a year, with more than 50 performers over time. In 2015 the group marked its 15th anniversary.

In 2018 the ownership of the area around the Phönixhalle changed, and the group could no longer afford to use its theatre there. After a short period at another location, where regular performances could not be established, it searched for a new home from 2018 onwards. A cooperation with the association Applaus e.V. in Bodenheim then made the Dolles-Keller available as a venue for joint projects; the first performances there, of Die Mumbacher Klappsmiehl, took place in April 2022 under the motto "Wir leben noch" ("We are still alive"). The group returned to the Dolles-Keller with the same play in 2023 and 2024.

Repertoire
The group mainly stages comedies in the Mainz dialect, set in or around Mainz, but has also performed adaptations of world literature such as Der kleine Prinz and satirical pieces. Several of its plays were written by its own authors. In addition to new productions, older comedies were regularly revived; in the first half of 2015, for example, the group played four different comedies in its own venue. Other plays in its repertoire, without known production years, include De Barbier vun Meenz, De Liebeskasper vun de Vilzbach, Die geheern allminonner in die Hoppla, Ein Einbrecher zuviel, Es Wunner vun Meenz, Hau' endlich ab – Verabschiedung in den Vorruhestand, Komme die oder komme die annern (short pieces by authors from Kurt Tucholsky to Horst Helfrich), Meenzer Wertschaftspolitik and Zwää dolle Dollbohrer in Paris, as well as Die Goldgrub, an adaptation after Laufs and Jacoby, and Außer Kontrolle!, an adaptation of Ray Cooney's Out of Order.
