Chamäleon – Alles nur Theater e.V. is an amateur theatre and cultural association based in Neuwied, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Its productions, which range from drama and comedy to musicals, bring together amateur performers and professionals from acting, directing, dance and singing.

History
The group grew out of a theatre course at the Neuwied Volkshochschule (adult education centre) in 2007. Its first production, Jagdszenen, premiered there on 30 June 2007; Romeo und Julia followed in 2008 as the last production staged as a Volkshochschule course, after which the association was set up. By 2012 it had about 80 members. The association itself dates its existence from 2009.

Within its first six years the association staged more than 20 productions and grew to over 110 members. In 2013 it opened the Kulturkuppel, a cultural venue in a largely empty shopping arcade in Neuwied.

Repertoire
The repertoire combines modern and classical drama, comedies, original plays and musicals; at its peak around 2012–2014 the association ran several productions in parallel each year. Besides conventional stage productions it has staged Prinz Max ist zurück – Eine Zeitreise durch Neuwied, a theatrical city tour given on selected Sundays for five years, and the interactive horror theatre Horrorhaus Schlabbeck, which ran for almost three years.
