== History ==
The amateur performers first worked together in 2013 on a piece for the Festival der Philosophie, whose theme that year was "Wie bitte geht Gerechtigkeit", and then named themselves ''Die Eigen-Artigen''. In 2018 only two of the eleven performers were still in work; the others were retired.<ref name="schlaile2018" /> The group is also featured on the City of Hanover's Leibniz Year portal.<ref name="leibnizjahr" />

== Repertoire ==
In ''Abflug 11.45 Uhr'', shown at the Leibniz-Theater in Hanover on 10 November 2018, the residents of the fictional retirement home "Lebenslust am Tiergarten" decide, loosely following [[wikipedia:Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz|Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz]], to broaden their horizons by travelling.<ref name="schlaile2018" />
