The Kulturverein Isartal e. V. is a cultural association in Baierbrunn, Upper Bavaria, Germany, founded in 2004. Its amateur theatre ensemble, Das Kleine Baierbrunner Welttheater, staged comedies and classics in the local parish hall; the association also organises readings, concerts and exhibitions.

History
The association was founded on 5 July 2004 by 14 citizens of Baierbrunn to foster cultural life in the Isar valley. Its aims include public readings, introducing children and young people to literature, theatre acting and debating, and involving local artists through exhibitions and concerts. In its early years children were given acting lessons and performed several plays with the association. With the founding of the Kleines Baierbrunner Welttheater the association turned to theatre for adults, and its productions made it known locally.

After the death of the association's first chairman in January 2010 its activities were interrupted for several months; on 19 May 2010 the members decided to continue the association. In 2014 it had 43 members. After a change of leadership at the beginning of 2016 the focus of its programme shifted towards concerts, ranging from classical music to swing and Bavarian folk music. From 2019 the association also took over the organisation of the Baierbrunn Christmas market.

Repertoire
The ensemble performed classic comedies and adaptations, usually with four performances in February or spring. The association also hosted guest performances in Baierbrunn, among them productions by other amateur groups from Pullach and a school theatre group in 2015.
