The Schwoagara Dorfbühne Kunst und Kultur e. V. is an amateur theatre association in Schwaig, a district of Neustadt an der Donau in the district of Kelheim, Lower Bavaria, Germany. Founded in 2000 to continue the theatre tradition of the local Burschenverein, it stages an autumn production that alternates yearly between a fairy-tale play and a Bavarian comedy, runs a youth theatre and organises the Grenzland-Starkbierfest. It won the Larifari Bavarian amateur theatre prize for dialect theatre in 2025.

History
The roots of the group go back to 1947, when the Burschenverein of Schwaig staged its first plays. Its productions were led by Franz Widmann in the 1950s and 1960s, Emil Hauber sen. (1978–1990), Christian Hauber (1991–1998) and Günter Schweiger (1999); the 1999 production Die goldene Gans is remembered as a particular success. In 2000 the Schwoagara Dorfbühne Kunst und Kultur e. V. was founded to carry on this tradition. Besides theatre it organises traditional events, above all the Grenzland-Starkbierfest, held since 1997 with satirical sketches on politics (Starkbier festival).

With its autumn production Hollerküacherl, listed under 2020, the group returned to the stage after the COVID-19 restrictions, increasing seating from 77 to 125 under the 3G rules. In May 2025 it received the Kunst- und Kulturpreis of the town of Neustadt an der Donau.

Repertoire
The autumn theatre alternates between a fairy-tale play and a Bavarian piece; a youth theatre group performs children's plays and Christmas stories. For autumn 2026 the group announced the Bavarian backyard comedy Quadratratschn-Schlamassl by Ralph Wallner.
