History

The club was founded in 1972. It staged a play every year in the Gasthaus Beck inn from 1972 to 1992, and in the Sualafeldhalle from 1995 to 2019. In 1980 it set up a Tracht (traditional costume) group, which was suspended in 1990; in 1984 it organised a large Heimatabend in the Sualafeldhalle. It celebrated its 25th anniversary in 1997, and in the same year took part in the historical play for Huisheim's 800th anniversary.[1]

Repertoire

The club traditionally stages a three-act comedy each year. Performances take place on Saturdays and Sundays over two weekends at the end of November and the beginning of December, with an additional performance for children and one for senior citizens.[1]

Venue

Since 1995 the productions have been staged in the Sualafeldhalle in Huisheim, for which the club bought a new stage that year; before that it played in the Gasthaus Beck.[1]
