History
The group's first production, in 1985, was Pizza a´la Schrapfing. For decades it performed in the local sports club's clubhouse; in 1992 no play was staged because of building work there, and in spring 1993 the group moved temporarily to another venue. No performances took place from 2020 to 2022 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[2]
On 22 November 2025 the club hosted the theatre group from Aschheim's twin town on the Greek island of Leros, which performed Agamemnon, rehearsed specially for the visit. The evening also included a short film on 40 years of the Aschheimer Bauerntheater and a performance by the club's Schuhplattler dance group.[3]
Because the old sports clubhouse was closed, the group announced that from the 2026 season it would perform in the Feststadl in Aschheim until a new clubhouse is completed.[3][4]
