History
In 2016 the group was the first amateur theatre allowed to stage David Seidler's play The King's Speech; director Olaf Daum revived the production with a partly new cast in April 2025.[3] In 2024 the group won the short-play festival Kurz & Knackig of the Amateurtheaterverband Niedersachsen e. V. in Osnabrück; as winner it co-hosted the festival's fourth edition at its own venue from 31 October to 1 November 2026, opening it out of competition with its youth ensemble's production Briefe von Sophie.[1]
Repertoire
The group's productions include comedies, dramas, fairy tales for Advent and readings. Recent productions include a comedy by Sabine Misiorny and Tom Müller (2024), Der Froschkönig (Advent 2024) and The King's Speech (2016, revived 2025).[4][3] Its youth ensemble performs separately.[1]
Venue
Since its founding the ensemble has been based in the theatre hall of the Lukasgemeinde in Hanover-Vahrenwald (entrance Rolandstraße), where all its performances take place.[3][5]
