History

The Märchenspectaculum was founded in 2004 by two women. At first they told and acted out fairy tales, adding mask play. Since 2007 one of the founders has performed on her own, staging fairy tales with puppets and various objects in open play.[2]

Repertoire

The repertoire consists of several pieces for children and one piece for adults. The mobile stage plays at birthday parties, schools, nurseries, care homes, open-air museums, private celebrations, seminars and holiday camps. Some of the figures are handmade (crocheted, knitted, sewn, modelled in clay or made of tissue paper) and are combined with everyday objects.[2]
