History
The club Frohsinn was founded on 1 January 1920 in the Freising district of Lerchenfeld as successor of an older Zipfelhaubenclub; from 1925 a theatre group was established within the club. The present Theaterstadel was founded by Otto Kudrus and first performed on 25 December 1975 with the three-act play Der dalkerte Bua.[1]
In some recent years the group had to cancel its autumn season, mainly for lack of actors.[3] In 2024 it paused for health reasons of several players and postponed its planned play to 2025.[4]
