History

The society was founded on Epiphany (6 January) 1948 by 55 people at its founding meeting; despite post-war shortages, members made the society's costume themselves. It celebrated its 75th anniversary in January 2023 and hosted the regional costume festival (Gaufest) of the Bayerischer Inngau-Trachtenverband in 2023.[1]

Repertoire

After a three-year break, the theatre group returned with Peter Landstorfer's three-act comedy Da Rauberpfaff, directed by Manfred Altenweger, which premiered before a full house.[1]

Venue

The theatre group performs in the Pfleger Theaterstadl in Lohen near Schechen.[1]

Organisation

Besides theatre, the society's main activities are its children's and youth groups, which practise Schuhplattler and folk dances weekly in four groups, and village customs such as the Advent market and the Klöpfeln carol singing.[2][1]
