The Bühne „Erholung“ 27 Fürth e. V. is an amateur theatre association in Fürth, Middle Franconia, Germany. Founded in 1927, it stages comedies and crime plays, sometimes written by its own members, and also offers theatrical city tours.[1][2]

History

According to the FürthWiki, since 1953 the association has appeared in the harvest festival procession of the Fürth Kirchweih (Michaelis-Kirchweih), reciting the prologue to the Lord Mayor in front of the main stand at the town hall. The prologue group was led for 40 years by Hellmut Hoffmann, then for 24 years by Kurt Albert, and since 2018 by Klaus Hoffmann.[1] The association will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027.[2]

Repertoire

The group announced the crime comedy Guns'n'Nuns for performances in Fürth, Nuremberg and Rohr from November 2026. It also runs city tours in Fürth, sold through the town's tourist information office.[2]

Awards

In 2023 the group won first place in the boulevard theatre category of Larifari – Bayerischer Amateurtheaterpreis, awarded by the Verband Bayerischer Amateurtheater e. V., for its production of Taxi Taxi.[3]
