The Bullayer Brautkomödchen e. V. is an amateur theatre group in Bullay, a municipality on the Moselle in the Cochem-Zell district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Formed in 2001, it usually performs once a year in November.[1]
History
The theatre group was formed in 2001 on the initiative of the Bullayer Heimat- und Verkehrsverein, the village's local history and tourism society. After two productions it became an independent association in 2003, the Bullayer Brautkomödchen e. V.[1]
Repertoire
The group has staged numerous plays since 2001 and, apart from cancellations due to illness, aims to present a new one every year. Its production Auch Superhelden sind nur Menschen played to 600 spectators in two sold-out performances.[1] In November 2025 it staged Es fährt kein Zug nach Irgendwo by Winnie Abel.[2]
Venue
The group performs in the Mehrzweckhalle (multi-purpose hall) of Bullay.[1][2]
