Die Haager Bühne e. V. is an amateur theatre association associated with the market town of Haag in Oberbayern, Upper Bavaria, Germany; its Wikidata entry gives its seat as neighbouring Sankt Wolfgang in the district of Erding.[1] Its first productions date from May 1991. Besides spring and autumn comedies it has staged children's plays and historical open-air plays in the courtyard of Haag castle.[2]
History
The group's production archive numbers its productions from May 1991, and it marked its tenth anniversary with a programme in March 2001. Until the early 2010s it typically presented a comedy each autumn and, from the late 1990s, a children's play each spring. In the summers of 1995 and 1997 it staged historical open-air plays by Rudolf Münch in the Haager Schlosshof, the courtyard of Haag castle, followed by Wera Schlegel's fairy-tale open-air play Rosendorn und Rippenbiest in 2002 and open-air music evenings with the band Panzerknacker in 2003 and 2004. In October 2002 it took part in a benefit event for the victims of the "flood of the century" (the 2002 European floods).[2]
Since at least 2019 the group's website has shown only a notice that it is being rebuilt.[3][4]
