History
In November 2018 the club performed Ralph Wallner's three-act play Der Lucki und seine Untaten eight times on the stage of the Baderwirt inn, directed by Christine Schuhbauer and Michael Leutner.[3] Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lack of a hall, no plays were staged in Günzenhausen for three years. In 2023 the club returned with two one-act plays performed on 11 June on a trailer converted into a stage and pulled by a tractor, at the Bürgerplatz in Eching and in the inn yard in Günzenhausen; it also took part in the procession for Eching's 1250th anniversary and in the castle festival at Ottenburg.[1]
In 2025 the club staged Marianne Santl's ten-character comedy Überall san d'Weiber, directed by Michael Leutner and rehearsed in the old fire station in Günzenhausen. It was performed twice in a festival hall in Weng (Fahrenzhausen) during the 150th anniversary of the local fire brigade – the premiere, with 420 spectators, was sold out – and three times at the ASZ community centre in Eching, with around 1,000 spectators in total expected.[4][2]
