Dramadama e. V. is an amateur theatre association based in Holzkirchen in the district of Miesbach, Upper Bavaria, Germany. Formed around the Holzkirchen director and actress Lydia Starkulla, it brings together players from several theatre groups in the region and performs in the large hall of the Valleyer Schloss Bräu brewery in Valley.[1][2]

History

The group's members have played, or still play, with other regional companies such as the Holzkirchner Komödchen, the Ayinger Gmoakultur, the Spielspur Holzkirchen and the Theater im Roßstall in Germering. According to Dramadama, the idea was to use the theatre synergies within the district and beyond, letting players who belong to their own clubs work together in varying combinations; its name stands for "dramatic comedies, action-packed dramas and cheerful summer theatre".[1] Its first production, Shakespeare's Viel Lärm um Nichts, was staged in 2021 and 2022.[3]

Repertoire

The repertoire ranges "from Shakespeare to Michael Ende", with productions directed by Lydia Starkulla as artistic director, including family productions in winter and summer theatre.[3] Because all performances of Die Schneekönigin in winter 2025 sold out before the premiere, the production was scheduled to return in winter 2026.[4]
