Entity Theatre e.V.

Entity Theatre e.V. is an English-speaking amateur theatre based in Munich. Since 20 years they have performed as a nonprofit community-theatre company. They are a volunteer-driven organization with an eclectic and diverse group of members from across the globe. They create theatre work that includes, but is not limited to, plays, staged readings, workshops, play-reading, and theatre festivals. They regularly hold evening workshops to explore theatre techniques, production processes and develop theatrical skills.

History

The theatre society was founded in 1999 when Danny Strike and Allison Sandford decided to form a group called Entity Theatre Workshop. After finding its footing and exploring theatre in the form of workshops and rehearsals, Entity Theatre held its first performance in 2001. In 2008, Entity was registered as an official association.
