The Theatergruppe des TSV Harsdorf is the amateur theatre section of the sports club TSV Harsdorf e. V. in Harsdorf, in the district of Kulmbach, Upper Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. History
Theatre had been played in Harsdorf as early as 1935 and in the 1950s. The present group began with a variety evening of three sketches and songs on 26 November 1983, which was so popular that a second evening followed; its founding members included Toni Heußinger, Robert Lauterbach, Christoph Hartmann and Dieter Eichner. In 1984 it performed the one-act play Die Preiskuh at the club's Christmas party and its first three-act play, Unkraut verdirbt net; a children's group followed in 1986. Since 1989 the group has given a free special performance for people with disabilities during each three-act season. In 1993 it won first prize in the talent competition Theater im Landkreis Kulmbach of the Kulturverein Kulmbach, and its three-act play Pizza à la Tanne was broadcast by the Bayerischer Rundfunk. The first open-air performance, by the children's group, took place at the TSV's forest sports ground in 2000, and in 2005 a youth group, "Nimmer normal", was formed. In the anniversary season 2019 two founding members died and two leading actors had to be replaced at short notice by members of friendly theatre groups from Bayreuth.[1]
