Mimenfeld – Neues Theater Neuburg (MiMENFELD e. V.) is an amateur theatre group in Neuburg an der Donau, Bavaria, Germany.[1] Founded in 2006 by experienced amateur actors, it stages one production of contemporary or classic modern drama and comedy each spring.[2]
History
Mimenfeld was formed at the beginning of February 2006 by about 25 Neuburg theatre enthusiasts with stage experience, most of them from the group Ottheinrichs Fröhliches Gesinde, with the aim of offering modern and demanding theatre in Neuburg. Its first production, Haltestelle. Geister. by Helmut Krausser, was given four well-attended performances in 2006.[2]
For its tenth anniversary in 2015 the group left the Studienseminar theatre for the first time. After performing in the Sporthotel Rödenhof from 2016,[2] it resumed in 2022 after almost three years' break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.[3] For its 20th anniversary in 2026 it presented its first open-air production, in the garden of the Stadtmuseum Neuburg; from the 2027 season it is to have a permanent venue in the Neuburg Kolpinghaus.[4]
Repertoire

Venue
Until 2014 the group played in the theatre of the Studienseminar in Neuburg. In 2015 it performed in the Kunstscheune in Marienheim, and from 2016 in the festival hall of the Sporthotel Rödenhof, which the group described in 2018 as its new home.[2] In 2026 it played in the garden of the Stadtmuseum Neuburg, and it plans to move into the Kolpinghaus in Neuburg from 2027.[4]
