Progetto Quindici

From Amateur Theatre Wiki

Progetto Quindici e.V. (Project Fifteen) is a Munich based amateur theatre group performing in Italian. They perform at different venues in Munich (Gasteig, Pepper-Theater) but also toured their shows to Regensburg and Augsburg.

History

Progetto Quindici was founded in 2014 on the initiative of several Italians who shared a passion for theatre and met at the Pirandello School of the I-Talía theater group in Munich. In October 2015 the group got together and considered performing their first show, hence the name of the amateur theatre. They successfully staged Edward Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" in the Gasteig cultural centre in Munich in 2017. In the following years they staged comic and musical works (e.g. Karl Valentin) but also Italian works by De Luca, De Filippo, Amoroso, Clementi and Pirandello. Progetto Quindici became a registered association in 2017 with Augusto Guisanni, Francesco Dighera, Marta Veltri, Mathias, Sandra, Valentina Fazio, and Walter Tagliabue as founding members.
