Scheyerer Bühne e.V.

The Scheyerer Bühne e.V. (Scheyern Stage) annually performs in the theatre hall in Scheyern. The goal of the Scheyerer Bühne e.V. firstly is to keep amateur theatre alive, as well as to promote Bavarian dialect. Hence, they exclusively perform in Bavarian dialect.

History

The Scheyerer Bühne e.V. was founded on 14th June 1991. The founding members were Emma Bucher, Siegfried Einödshofer, Johann Euringer, Karl Euringer, Bernhard Feuerer, Michaela Euringer, Heinrich Fischer, Hermine Gamperl, Albert Mahl, Renate Nischitz, Erwin Pfab, Anton Pillmayer, Karlheinz Reil, Hans Reith, Elke Seitz, Marianne Seitmann.

Until 1999, the performances took place in the hall of the monastery inn; from 2000 to 2005, they performed in the clubhouse on Hochstraße. Since March 2007, they have performed in the Scheyerer Theater, which they remodeled themselves. From 1993 to 1999, a one-hour cabaret program, focusing on local politics, was presented in the hall of the monastery inn at the annual Starkbier-Festival. This always included a musical program. Since 2000, they have participated, along with others, in the Starkbier-Festival at the clubhouse of Scheyern.
