History
The group began in 1974, when a circle of theatre enthusiasts founded the "Theaterkreis Bad Breisig" in Bad Breisig. Looking for a playing space of its own, it moved to Andernach in 1981. Venue
The group's theatre is in the cellar of the Realschule plus St. Thomas, a Realschule in Breite Straße in Andernach.[1] The city of Andernach provided the rooms, and the members converted them into a small theatre themselves.[2] Some productions are staged elsewhere, such as the youth ensemble's 2026 production in the Stadthausgalerie Andernach.[10]
