'''Freie Bühne Braunschweig – Theater bei AntiRost e.V.''' is an amateur theatre group in [[wikipedia:Braunschweig|Braunschweig]], Lower Saxony, Germany.<ref name="home" /> Formerly called ''Neue Bühne Braunschweig'', it stages classic and modern plays, mostly under professional directors, and rehearses at the AntiRost association in Braunschweig's Westliches Ringgebiet.<ref name="verein" />

== History ==
By around 2019 the group had existed for almost ten years and had performed modern and classic plays in changing casts. In 2014 its members decided to turn it into a registered non-profit association, and it was renamed from ''Neue Bühne Braunschweig'' to ''Freie Bühne Braunschweig – Theater bei AntiRost e.V.''. It has been a member of the [[Amateurtheaterverband Niedersachsen e. V.]] since its foundation and has taken part several times in the association's regional and state theatre festivals. Project funding from the city of Braunschweig and other sponsors has allowed it to work with professional directors.<ref name="verein" /><ref name="verein2019" />
